Organisation of the School Day

The gate opens at 8:25am for parents and children to wait in the Courtyard area

At 8:30am, the larger, white gate is opened - children make their way to the classrooms. When in the classroom, the children ensure that they are ready for the day ahead and take part in the Early Morning Work set by the teacher.

The gate is closed at 8:45am (there is not Road Traffic Patrol after this time)

8:50am - 10:30am  Session 1 (1 hour and 40 minutes)

10:30am - 10:45am  Breaktime (15 minutes - the children are allowed a snack and a drink during this time)

10:45am - 12:05pm - Session 2 (1 hour and 20 minutes)

12:00pm - 1:00pm - Lunchtime (1 hour)

1:00pm - 1:20pm - Daily Collective Worship (20 minutes)

1:20pm - 3:15pm - Session 3 (1 hour and 55 minutes)

3:15pm - End of the school day

The school is open for 6.75 hours a day for all pupils, however, a variety of after school clubs run most days from 3:15 to 4:15.
